The price for two passengers is $400 plus tax, three passengers is $550 plus tax but combined weight must be 550 lbs or less. We fly - weather permitting - 6 PM each day of the week, 6 AM on Saturday & Sunday.
Full payment is required for a gift certificate, $200.00 deposit is required to book a flight.

WHAT TO EXPECT:
Welcome to the wonderful world of ballooning! It is a world filled with beauty, excitement and adventure.
Ballooning is strictly a fair weather sport. Flights are conducted during the early morning hours and late afternoon hours when winds are light and the air is stable. Generally, a launch is not feasible when winds exceed 10 mph. Balloons fly at the speed of the wind, so landing above that may have an added risk of injury. Weather determination can usually be made early, but if not, your pilot will make a final judgment as to conditions at the launch site.
Dress comfortably. Shorts and dresses are not recommended and high heels are prohibited. It is not colder in the balloon actually warmer) but layered dress is in order as temperatures normally increase throughout the flight. Good sturdy walking boots and older clothes because soot from the burners can leave ink type marks on clothes.
Your flight will last approximately 60 minutes total time, depending on the weather, direction of flight and available landing sites. After landing, the balloon will be packed up. You will also be presented with mementos of your flight. After the flight we return you to the original rendezvous point. You should plan on this experience taking 2.5 to 3 hours. Do not forget to bring your camera and four times as much film as you plan to use. Our crew will be happy to take pictures for you. Videos are welcome too. We cannot be responsible, however, for your personal property. Friends/family are welcome to ride with the chase vehicle on a space-available basis, or follow along in their own vehicle.
SAFETY:
With any form of aviation there are certain risks. It is important that each passenger understand the critical aspects of the flight, and that they assume the risks inherent, including the chance of personal injury, loss of life, or damage to or loss of property. You are required to sign an acknowledgment of this personal responsibility and liability release as a condition of the flight. A parent or guardian is required to sign this acknowledgment in case of minor-aged passengers.
During the flight, passengers are encouraged to call the pilots attention to other balloons underneath that may be rising or obstructions in the path of flight that he may not be aware of, such as towers, power lines or fences.
Landings are the most critical. If higher winds exist, the balloon will tip and drag or may even bounce and bump along. It is of paramount importance that you stay in the basket. In order to prepare yourself for landing, stand perpendicular (sideways) to the direction of travel and hold very tightly to the superstructure of hand-holds inside the basket, bend your knees slightly and do not let go until the balloon comes to a complete stop. Keep your body parts inside the basket and try to keep your weight off the other passengers. Do not exit the basket until authorized by your pilot, as he may need
your weight to keep the balloon on the ground.
During your flight, it is important to follow the instructions of your pilot. Ask questions if you do not understand. No smoking allowed.
RESERVATIONS:
We can usually accommodate you on weekends and weekday evenings during daylight savings time.
Reservations are confirmed upon receipt of payment.
The payment is good for two (2) years and transferable. Bums In Paradise reserves the right to cancel any scheduled flight at any time for any reason. Each flight can carry (2) two or (3) three passengers. A combined weight limit for the three passengers flights is in effect. Contact us for details.

direction of the winds, the pilot may select an alternate launch location at anytime. You will be able to share your experience with friends and family each time you see balloons flying in the area.
