Conkey's Bookstore is the oldest Independent Bookstore (not one of the chains)in the state of Wisconsin. We carry books of all sorts, but have one of the bigger collections of books by Wisconsin authors or about Wisconsin. The children's section is also one of the largest in the area including stuffed animals, banks, and toys. In addition to books, we also have a giftshop featuring Hallmark cards for all seasons, cards in foreign languages, ornaments and nativity scenes, sail boats, candles, and many other gifts. We also service Lawrence University in the lower level with their textbook needs. Come visit and experience the great customer service while taking in the old bookstore charm of wooden floors and the tall ladders!
