How long have you been in business?
Since 1990.
What is your primary product or service?
Paintings, drawings, prints and books. I work in graphite pencil, watercolor and acrylic on canvas, with ocean surf and beaches as my theme. I've published books about my work, about building clubhouses for kids,and about my imaginary island-nation, New Island.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I started drawing waves, beaches and imaginary places as a kid.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
I'm basically a one-man shop, a full-time artist, and part-time art teacher.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
One location, in Kaukauna. I show my work in other Wisconsin galleries.

In Kaukauna, my studio is one-half block up Wisconsin Ave from the stop-light at the top of the Fox River bridge. Go inside the KC & T coffee shop and take the stairs through the door to your right. I'm upstairs, and the studio is open during all coffee shop hours.
