How long have you been in business?
In March of 2012, we will be in business 10 years.
What is your primary product or service?
We design, manufacture and sell curved stairways, spiral stairways, straight stairways, and stair parts.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I worked for a previous stair manufacturer and eventually decided, with the help of my husband and family, to start my own company.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
At StairGoddess we work directly with the customer to design a staircase that perfectly fits their home. We offer full color 3-D renderings to help customers visualize the entire room. Our goal is to provide products and services which are on time, with in their budget, that meet or exceed their expectations.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have one central location in Appleton, WI. Although we are a nationwide company, we do not have any plans for further expansion, at this time.

We are located inside the City Center Plaza on the 1st floor, right in the heart of Downtown Appleton, on College Avenue.
What type of payments do you accept?
We accept cash, or checks.
Which areas do you service?
We are a nationwide company, and can ship our products anywhere in the United States, and abroad.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Rebecca Herring is the owner, and runs the day to day operations.
What are your hours of operation?
Our showroom is open by appointment only, or by chance. We want to give our customers one on one attention. The only way we can give our undivided attention, is if no other customers are in the showroom at the time of your appointment.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
A referral is the best compliment our company can get.
