How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I've worked in the healthcare field most of my life in different capacities and decided to transition to a more holistic profession...focusing on wellness vs. illness. I enjoy helping my clients feel better and giving them better quality of life.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Kathryn Rose founded Massage Connection in 1990 on Appleton's south side, then moved the business to Downtown Appleton in 1999. She grew it to a large group practice and expanded the name to Massage Connection Wellness Center LLC. In 2011, Kathryn sold the business and stayed on for awhile before relocating her solo practice to within ALTERNATIVES Holistic Health & Wellness Center LLC, Appleton in 2013.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
One location on the north side of Appleton.
